About the Role:
Join Imagination Childcare Academy, Inc. as a UPK Teacher and inspire young minds in a nurturing environment! We are seeking passionate educators who are dedicated to fostering creativity and a love for learning in our UPK students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Utilize play-based learning techniques to enhance cognitive and social skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and curriculum.
- Maintain classroom organization and manage student behavior effectively.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- New York State Teaching Certification for Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2).
- At least 2 years experience in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
